Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. She's best known as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The only child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her showbiz career at an early age. When she was 16, Alexandra had landed the leading roles in numerous television dramas. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall the role she played as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. The other Oscar nominated films featuring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. In the past, Alexandra was involved in numerous notable international and national projects. These include British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as well as French historical miniseries Napoleon. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and the Cannes Film Festival.
